Remember Highlights Magazine from when we were kids in the doctor's waiting room?  My kids have recently discovered the magazine and it's been such a wonderful learning experience.  Here's the best part, they have more than just Highlights!

For the 2 to 6 age they have High Five, which is an perfect preschooler magazine.  It has all the same wonderful games we played in Highlights, but with simplified illustrations helping kids feel more successful and confident.

Highlights Magazine remains to be for ages 6 to 12 and still has Hidden Pictures, Science Corner, Goofus and Gallant - all the treasures that got us through the nerves in a doctor's waiting room - but now you can do it from home with your child, with no sick little germy kids sneezing all over the magazine before you get to look at it.

The best part is that they come monthly - so many kids magazines come bi-monthly and let's face it, even at 35-years-old, I can't wait two months for my next issue of a magazine.  I barely wait the week between People issues before getting twitchy!
