About The Maggie List

Who the heck am I? I'm a mom of 4-year-old twins, Jack and Ella.

I often want to know about what movies I should and should not take them to. Having failed miserably as a parent by taking them to see Desperaux (a mentally unstable handmaiden and princess-eating rats!) and also to see Up (scariest movie for Jack, ever) - both movies not age appropriate for my kids, I decided to start this blog and have my mom-friends contribute their reviews as well.

Most of our reviews are positive, but we will let you know of any red flags we see so that we can help you protect your investment, both emotional and financial, and the valuable reading time you spend with your children.

It's time we know what book we are buying, should buy. What movies we are seeing, should see. What albums are worth investing in. Don't you agree?

Do you have a book or movie you want reviewed? Let me know, your review request is our command!

Have you written a book that you want reviewed? Please contact us to make arrangements so we can get your review up right away.

I Am Your New Music Teacher

Another fantastic album by Parker Bent, a wonderful kids’ musician. Released in June 2005, it is clearly timeless as it is an absolute home run for the preschool circuit (my twins 4-year-olds included).
